Draco's poetic nature is revealed in the morning light, when its maple battens, set against the grain of its ends, start to shimmer and dance in the eye that wanders over them. In the masterly detail of its receding angles, refined by hand and plane, which open to the sky its stellar surface adorned with the constellation of the Dragon. If you feel a sense of elevation and sanctity when standing before Draco, it means your romantic soul has recognized the sublime, powerful language of poetry.

. FSC-certified first-grade hard maple woods (Acer saccharum) sourced from U.S. and Canadian forests.
. Naturally treated with 3 coats of polymerized linseed oil, 100% solvent free, zero VOC, one top coat of Arakuto’s Cure Balm organic formula.
. Maple battens insertions in counter-grain at both ends.
. 90 days of maturation.
. 14 inlaid black walnut stars for the Draco constellation, crafted from reclaimed black walnut (Juglans nigra).
. Altar mounted on height-adjustable, non-slip, anti-marking bumpers made of high-performance polyurethane rubber.
. Available in 3 sizes.

Creation is both an act of making and an act of uncovering. It’s about getting to the essence of the form. I sculpt until I hear a voice, a voice that emanates from the form and resonates into my bones, awakening the sensation of a lived truth, an existential shiver. Then I keep working on the form, until I experience the strange, and sudden impression that the form is somehow familiar to me, or the revelation that it has always been there. Then, and only then, do I know it's beautiful.
